Food Demonstrations

Food demonstrations at live events are my passion and love. 

I have the ability to connect and get people excited about food.

 

My first live event was at the Good Food Show at the NEC cooking for John Torode and Greg Wallace during Master Chef Live, with an audience of 100+.

 

I took to it like a duck to water.

With over 30 years experience demonstrating what you love comes with ease.

 

I feel my presentations are informative and quirky at the same time.

Always engaging the audience with my tutorials making it interesting and fun.

 

Live Food Festival Demonstrations include

Coventry Food Festival demonstrating both on my own and with British Chef and TV presenter Rosemary Schrager.

 

May 2020 Coventry’s Food Festival was cancelled due to Covid 19, but I filmed a virtual Food Demonstration.

As the theme was VE Day I cooked a Lord Woolton Pie, which was eaten at that time due to rationing.

The demonstration had over 1k views on Coventry City’s Facebook page.

 

There years running I have demonstrated at Leamington Spa Food Festival sponsored by Aubrey Allen butchers.

Booked to do several slots over the food festival weekend, cooking and promoting quality lamb from Aubrey Allen.

 

June 2019 I was invited to demonstrate desserts at Birmingham Foodies Festival by Charlotte White from Restoration Cakes, Host and Curator of The Cake & Desserts Theatre at Foodies Festival nationwide.

Great fun and lots of delicious tasting ensued from the audience.

 

In October 2017 I was booked to participate in the filming of a pilot show in London, for “Home Cook of the Year” staring Mary Berry.

Excellent experience and overall I won a monetary prize, as well as my fee, as I was voted the Best Home Cook.

 

Since winning  Home Cook of the Year for the Midlands, in September 2017, Leamington Spa, sponsored by Aubrey Allen’s butchers I have been invited back on a yearly basis to judge the competition.

In the esteemed company of Clive Fretwell, Executive Chef & Director, Brasserie Bar Co. Brasserie Blanc and Russell Allen, Managing Director of Aubrey Allen Butchers.

One of the reasons to book me for a Food Demonstration is that I am a fully qualified Chef and also an experienced Sales Manager, which intertwine perfectly to create an engaging presentation.
